Who Swiftlane Is Right For
New construction and gut renovations. When the building's network, doors, and amenity spaces are being planned at once, Swiftlane lets the intercom and access control share the same platform from day one — no bolting a second system on later.
Condos and rentals with amenity spaces. Gym, roof deck, package room, bike storage, parking. Swiftlane controls every door from the same dashboard as the intercom, with per-door schedules and credential rules.

What a Swiftlane Installation Involves
Entrance video intercom. The Swiftlane touchscreen panel with camera and face-recognition reader at the main entrance, plus additional panels or readers at side, service, amenity, and garage doors.
Access control at every controlled door. Readers or Swiftlane's compact door units, connected to electric strikes, maglocks, or electrified locks. As a licensed locksmith, we install the locking hardware ourselves and design fail-safe versus fail-secure to NYC code.
Network and power. Each panel and door unit needs network and power. In new construction we coordinate with the electrical and low-voltage contractors so the drops are where the hardware goes. In existing buildings we run them.
Directory, credentials, and dashboard. We load the resident directory, issue face, mobile, and fob credentials, configure amenity schedules and visitor rules, and set up the managing agent's dashboard.
Resident onboarding. Building notices, app instructions, and enrollment support at handoff so residents are set up before the old system comes down.
Timeline. A single-entrance building is typically two to three days. Multi-door installations with amenity spaces are phased and scheduled around construction milestones.
Swiftlane vs. the Alternatives
