Who 2N Is Right For
Commercial buildings and office towers. Reception, suite entrances, and service doors, with the intercom tied into the building's access control and the tenants' VoIP phone systems so a visitor call rings at the right desk.
Luxury condos and new high-rises. Buildings in Long Island City, Hudson Yards, Downtown Brooklyn, and Tribeca with a concierge station, multiple entrances, amenity floors, and a board that wants one integrated entry system rather than three vendors' products bolted together.
Multi-entrance and multi-building properties. Garden complexes in Queens with nine entrances, mixed-use buildings with separate residential and commercial doors, campuses. 2N runs a single directory and configuration across every panel.

2N Systems We Install
IP Verso — 2N's modular door station. Camera, keypad, RFID and Bluetooth readers, touch display, and fingerprint module can be combined to fit the entrance. The workhorse for commercial and multi-tenant buildings.
IP Style — the touchscreen door station with a large display and directory for residential buildings that want a premium, visitor-friendly entrance.
IP Solo and IP Force — compact and heavy-duty door stations for single entrances, service doors, garages, and exposed locations.
Indoor View and Indoor Touch — video answering stations for apartments and reception desks, plus the 2N mobile app for answering from a phone.
Access Unit — 2N's standalone reader for controlled doors that don't need a full intercom, running on the same platform as the entrance panels.
What a 2N Installation Involves
Network design. Every 2N device is an IP device. We plan the network drops, PoE switching, VLAN placement, and bandwidth with the building's IT team or, in new construction, with the low-voltage contractor. In an existing building, we run the cabling.
Door stations at every entrance. IP Verso, IP Style, or IP Solo at each controlled door, configured as one system with one directory.
Indoor stations, app, or phone integration. Depending on the building: 2N indoor stations in units, the 2N app on residents' phones, or calls routed into a tenant's VoIP system so a visitor at the door rings the reception phone.
Access control integration. We connect the 2N readers and door outputs to the building's access control platform so the intercom and credentialed entry work as one system with one log.
Door hardware. Electric strikes, maglocks, and electrified locks installed and wired by our licensed locksmith side, designed fail-safe or fail-secure to NYC code.
Configuration and handoff. Directory, call routing, schedules, and integration tested door by door; the building's IT or management contact trained on the 2N management platform.
Timeline. A single commercial entrance is one to two days. Multi-entrance and integrated installations are planned around the building's network and access control timeline.
2N vs. the Alternatives
2N vs. Akuvox. Both are IP intercom systems with panels, monitors, and apps. Akuvox delivers the core functions at a lower installed cost and is the better fit for a residential building managed by a managing agent. 2N has deeper integration, more configuration control, and better support for complex, multi-door commercial deployments.
