We launched Impera Security with one goal: to be the security contractor that New York City property owners could actually count on.
The problem we kept seeing was straightforward. Buildings were getting systems installed by contractors who treated every property the same — generic layouts, fast installs, and no one to call when something stopped working. For property managers responsible for dozens of tenants and millions of dollars in real estate, that's not acceptable.
New York City's buildings aren't simple. Pre-war concrete walls. Historic facades that can't be drilled carelessly. High-rise co-ops with strict board requirements. Mixed-use properties with complex multi-tenant access needs. Every building in this city presents its own set of challenges — and most security contractors treat those challenges as inconveniences rather than the job.
